PRADA seeks a Jewelry Expert in Milan to provide expert client service and drive sales for the maison's fine and high‑jewelry collections.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional, personalized client experience for fine and high jewelry clientele, cultivating long-term relationships and managing VIP accounts.
- Provide expert product advice on gemstones, precious metals, setting techniques and jewelry care to guide purchase decisions.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling, cross-selling and private client appointments.
- Manage daily boutique operations for the jewelry category, including merchandising of displays, stockroom control and inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, follow up on client enquiries, coordinate private viewings and after‑sales services.
- Adhere to security protocols and loss‑prevention procedures specific to high-value jewelry handling.
- Collaborate with store leadership and regional teams on product launches, trunk shows and client events.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience in fine jewelry, high jewelry or luxury accessories with documented sales performance.
- Deep knowledge of gemstones, precious metals and jewelry construction; formal gemology training or certification preferred.
- Demonstrated clienteling skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high‑net‑worth clients.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for stock control, transactions and post‑sale administration.
- Professional discretion, polished presentation and the ability to represent a luxury maison at private events.
- Legal right to work in Italy and flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends.

Experience
Typically 3+ years of progressive experience in luxury jewelry or high‑end retail demonstrating consistent sales results and direct interaction with affluent clientele; experience in private sales and event execution is highly advantageous.
Education
High school diploma required; formal training in gemology, jewelry design or related qualifications preferred.
