Confidential luxury house — Milan: IT Security Architect and Administrator role responsible for security architecture, SIEM and cloud security.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, document and maintain the enterprise security architecture across on‑premises and cloud environments (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
  • Implement and administer security controls: firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, endpoint protection and secure network segmentation.
  • Operate and tune SIEM, monitor security events, investigate alerts and lead technical incident response.
  • Manage identity and access management (IAM) systems, directory services (Active Directory/Azure AD) and SSO integrations (SAML/OAuth).
  • Run vulnerability management, patching and remediation workflows using industry scanners and coordinate penetration test activities.
  • Define security baselines, hardening standards and technical policies; ensure alignment with GDPR and relevant compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, applications and product teams to embed security by design into projects and migrations.
  • Evaluate security vendors and tools, manage third‑party security relationships and participate in disaster recovery/business continuity planning.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical background in network, systems and cloud security with demonstrable architecture experience.
  • Professional certification preferred: CISSP, CISM, CRISC or equivalent; cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure Security) advantageous.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into secure technical designs and operational procedures.
  • Excellent incident response and problem‑solving capabilities; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communicator with experience collaborating across IT, business and external partners.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or equivalent; master's degree or equivalent professional experience is an advantage.
