Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Store Manager and store leadership to diagnose training needs and translate business priorities into targeted learning plans at both store and individual Client Advisor level.
  • Design, plan and cascade retail training programmes covering brand identity, client journey, product knowledge (with emphasis on leather goods), clienteling and high‑end selling techniques.
  • Champion a culture of shadowing (observation → feedback → coaching) and lead regular one‑to‑one coaching sessions to uplift individual performance and selling skills.
  • Drive in‑store learning through active shop‑floor presence, daily briefings, best‑practice sharing and facilitation of digital retail training tools (Training APP).
  • Conduct team gap analyses, create individual development plans, monitor retention and impact of training content and report progress to store leadership.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction for new hires in partnership with HR and other retail functions (Merchandising, CRM, Events) to ensure seamless integration into the Prada client experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury retail with responsibility for training, coaching or people development; typically 3+ years in retail with at least 1 year focused on training or talent development.
  • Deep product knowledge of leather goods and high‑end accessories, with the ability to translate product features into persuasive selling narratives.
  • Demonstrated coaching ability: skilled in observation, constructive feedback and designing individualised action plans.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence store teams and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Fluent English; proficiency in Cantonese (or Mandarin) strongly advantageous for the Hong Kong market.
