In-Store Trainer at Prada Rome — training and development specialist role in luxury retail, fostering coaching culture and client experience excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with Store Manager and Store Leadership to identify training needs aligned with business priorities and develop tailored training action plans at store and individual advisor levels
- Leverage in-store training tools including training sessions, coaching sessions, daily briefings, and best-practice sharing to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional retail teams (Merchandising, CRM, Events) to jointly organize and manage specialized training activities
- Conduct team gap analysis, build individualized coaching plans, and provide ongoing feedback on team member progress, performance, and training levels
- Ensure full cascading of training content on brand heritage, client journey methodology, and product knowledge; monitor quality, impact, and retention of training initiatives
- Drive in-store training execution with active shop floor presence and support the adoption of Retail Training Digital Tools by store teams
- Lead a coaching culture prioritizing client advisors' development in selling skills, client experience, clienteling, styling, brand ambassadorship, and high-end product expertise
- Conduct individual shadowing sessions with Store Leadership (Observation/Feedback/Coaching) to ensure seamless one-to-one coaching implementation in-store
- Manage onboarding journeys for new hires, facilitate in-store induction programs, and partner with Human Resources on talent integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in learning and development, human resources management, psychology, or related field, or equivalent vocational training
- Completed trainer qualification and relevant professional certification
- In-depth knowledge of talent management and personnel development methodologies and tools
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Strong coordination, organizational, and communication abilities
- Fluent English language proficiency
Skills
Experience
5+ years of experience in retail training or retail managerial roles, preferably within luxury fashion or comparable high-end retail environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in learning and development, human resources management, psychology, or a related field; or equivalent vocational training with trainer qualification certification.
