Prada seeks an In-Store Trainer in Florence to lead retail team development, training delivery, and coaching initiatives in a luxury fashion environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with Store Manager and leadership to identify training needs aligned with business priorities and develop comprehensive action plans at both store and individual Client Advisor levels
- Leverage in-store training tools including formal training sessions, coaching interventions, Daily Briefing moments, and best-practice sharing forums to cascade brand, client journey, and product knowledge
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, CRM, Events, and other retail functions to design and deliver integrated training activities
- Conduct team gap analysis and develop individualized coaching plans with ongoing feedback on progress, performance, and training maturity
- Lead a coaching-centric culture prioritizing Client Advisors across selling skills, Client Experience, Clienteling, styling, brand ambassadorship, and luxury product expertise
- Provide shadowing-based feedback and coaching to Store Leadership to ensure consistent one-to-one development processes (Coach the Coach model)
- Monitor training quality, impact, and content retention while fostering a self-learning culture, particularly through the Retail Training Digital Tools platform
- Manage new hire onboarding journeys by facilitating in-store induction and partnering with Human Resources to ensure seamless integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Learning and Development, Human Resources Management, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent vocational training
- Completed trainer qualification and relevant professional certification
- In-depth knowledge of talent management and personnel development methodologies and tools
- Excellent presentation and facilitation capabilities
- Strong coordination and organizational abilities with demonstrated communication excellence
- Fluent English proficiency
Skills
Experience
4+ years in retail training roles or retail management positions with demonstrable impact on team performance and professional development outcomes
Education
Bachelor's degree in Learning and Development, Human Resources Management, Psychology, or related field; alternatively, equivalent vocational training with completed trainer qualification
