Luxury retailer at ION Orchard, Singapore seeks an In-store Operations Manager to oversee store operations, visual merchandising and team leadership.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the ION Orchard store to ensure exemplary customer experience and adherence to brand standards.
- Manage staffing: recruitment, scheduling, coaching, performance management and development of sales and operational teams.
- Own store opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS reconciliation and loss-prevention protocols.
- Coordinate with visual merchandising and buying teams to implement seasonal displays, floor moves and inventory allocations.
- Control stock lifecycle: receiving, replenishment, stocktakes, shrinkage control and timely reporting of inventory variances.
- Partner with regional/central teams on KPI reporting, sales forecasts, promotional rollouts and localised operational initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards and facilities maintenance; manage vendor relationships for store services.
- Drive continuous improvement of operational processes, service standards and in-store efficiency to protect margin and brand equity.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury retail operations or flagship store management, with progressive managerial responsibility.
- Demonstrable experience leading retail teams, delivering high customer-service standards and meeting sales targets.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in inventory control, P&L awareness and KPI-driven management.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Professional demeanour appropriate for a luxury clientele and capacity to represent the brand at store and client events.
