Prada seeks an In‑store Operations Manager at ION Orchard, Singapore — lead back‑of‑house operations, inventory and the store operations team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all back‑of‑house store operations to ensure flawless delivery of the customer experience and adherence to corporate operating procedures.
  • Implement and cascade corporate policies, SOPs and regional directives in collaboration with the Store Manager and Regional Store Operations team.
  • Lead, coach and develop the operational team; manage staffing, rotas, recruitment and performance discussions to meet KPI targets.
  • Own inventory management: product care, space optimisation, stock movement (transfers, consignment, repairs) and cycle counts/stocktake reconciliations.
  • Manage store administration including cash handling procedures, till accuracy, daily audits and investigation of discrepancies.
  • Coordinate after‑sales services and alterations, liaising with on‑site tailors and external vendors to safeguard service quality.
  • Maintain store environment standards and coordinate with engineering, security and external contractors for maintenance or renovation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Security and Loss Prevention guidelines and escalate non‑compliance to regional teams.
  • Support IT adoption in store, ensure technical readiness for systems and provide training on company applications as required.
  • Project manage in‑store implementations, pop‑ups and events in partnership with relevant departments to minimise operational impact.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail management experience in a comparable role; prior experience within luxury retail highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable leadership and people management skills with experience recruiting, training and developing retail teams.
  • Strong operational competency: inventory control, stocktake procedures and back‑of‑house logistics.
  • Previous administration and cash handling experience with a meticulous approach to audit and compliance.
  • Excellent organisational skills, strategic planning capability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver operational projects.
  • Proactive problem solving and commercial awareness to mitigate risk and drive store performance.
  • Familiarity with SAP is desirable; advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Experience

Minimum three years of progressive retail management experience, preferably within a high‑turnover luxury retail environment, with proven responsibility for operations, inventory and team leadership.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, retail management, hospitality or a related discipline.
