The Team Manager leads, develops and coaches the store team, drives sales and KPI performance, and ensures an exceptional client experience. The role also oversees clienteling, category performance, product care, policy adherence and coordination with merchandising, visual merchandising and operations teams.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Guide, nurture and develop the team, fostering excellence, teamwork and growth.
  • Drive the team to exceed KPI targets, set goals and manage individual performance to support store results.
  • Partner with the Store Manager/Director on regular performance discussions, results analysis and actionable plans.
  • Motivate and support the team through ongoing feedback and coaching; identify individual development needs and work with Retail Trainers on tailored development plans to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Train the team on the Client Journey, clienteling, storytelling and product knowledge to meet and exceed business goals.
  • Participate in talent identification, recruitment and onboarding with the Store Manager.
  • Lead by example to foster a positive, harmonious working environment and cooperation within the team and between store leaders.
  • Manage the sales floor efficiently to maximize business opportunities and maintain a visible, consistent presence for the team.
  • Lead the team in delivering a superior client experience in line with Client Journey principles and building long-term client relationships.
  • Improve store performance through CRM- and clienteling-led initiatives; train Client Advisors in data collection, client outreach, private appointments, repurchases, VIC engagement and retention.
  • Identify opportunities to engage prospective clients and expand the store’s client base.
  • Deliver a distinctive after-sales experience that supports product longevity and quality, using client visits to strengthen loyalty and maximize business opportunities.
  • Set an example of careful and respectful product handling across the team.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and support the team with daily operational tasks.
  • Monitor assigned category performance and propose action plans to achieve targets.
  • Work with Retail Merchandising teams, providing feedback on products, stock situations and specific requests to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to maximize category potential and ensure the store image follows established guidelines.
  • Work with the Operations team to organize the back of house for efficiency and selling opportunities.
