Prada Group — Tax Compliance Senior Specialist in Hong Kong. Lead APAC direct and indirect tax compliance, reporting and technical advisory.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise tax compliance activities for APAC entities covering both direct and indirect taxes, ensuring accurate and timely filings and payments.
- Oversee tax calculations, preparation and submission of tax returns, and management of tax payments to minimise exposure and optimise compliance.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments across APAC jurisdictions, assess tax implications and advise local entities on required actions.
- Prepare tax provisions and tax packages for APAC entities as required for financial reporting and audit.
- Support the APAC Senior Tax Manager on compliance initiatives, tax audits/inspections and special projects.
- Analyse tax implications of business activities, provide technical guidance to APAC entities and handle tax-related enquiries to align operations with Group policy and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of relevant tax experience, ideally a combination of Big Four advisory work and in‑house tax within a multinational group.
- Professional accounting qualification such as HKICPA or equivalent.
- Sound knowledge of China, Hong Kong and international tax laws and practical application across APAC.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel and familiarity with emerging AI‑powered tools for routine tasks and analysis.

5–7 years of progressive tax experience, preferably combining Big Four tax advisory exposure with in‑house experience in a multinational corporate environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
