The Stock Assistant manages merchandise receipt, storage, tracking, returns, transfers, e-commerce deliveries and packaging orders, while supporting the Stock Manager and sales staff. The role is based in Brussels.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage daily goods receipt and arrange merchandise in accordance with corporate procedures, checking and preparing products for the sales floor or designated areas.
- Safeguard products and valuable materials throughout warehouse handling.
- Track product flow in the SAP system.
- Maintain warehouse order in accordance with corporate standards.
- Process returns, shop-to-shop transfers and e-commerce deliveries in line with corporate guidelines and deadlines.
- Order packaging materials according to store needs.
- Support the Stock Manager in warehouse and store responsibilities.
- Assist sales staff with sales to help maximize sales.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the luxury retail sector is preferred.
- High affinity for luxury products.
- A strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent spoken French and English.
