Prada Group seeks Shoes Quality Assurance Engineer in Terranuova Bracciolini, Italy. Manage footwear quality across brands via process control and supplier oversight.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, update, and disseminate quality guidelines common to all brands, ensuring methodological uniformity and standardised performance metrics
  • Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives across all process phases in collaboration with relevant departments
  • Monitor supplier quality performance through dedicated key performance indicators
  • Analyse non-conformities from market feedback and testing, initiating and overseeing targeted problem-solving activities
  • Support raw material suppliers and finished product manufacturers in defining corrective and preventive actions
  • Guide risk analysis processes during the product development phase
  • Collaborate with product development and industrialisation departments on product validation and homologation
  • Prepare periodic reporting for departmental leadership and other relevant stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Degree in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline
  • 3–5 years of experience in process engineering, time-and-motion analysis, or quality assurance within manufacturing environments
  • Strong experience in the Fashion & Luxury sector, particularly in consultancy on production processes and digital tool implementation (e.g. PLM)
  • Proficiency in Quality Management methodologies
  • Structured problem-solving skills and analytical approach
  • Excellent organisational and planning capabilities
  • Team collaboration and cooperation
  • Advanced proficiency in English
  • Expert command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Access (knowledge of Power BI or equivalent is advantageous)

Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.

Compensation
