Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of new store and facility projects from initial planning to grand opening.
- Establish and maintain CAPEX budgets and project timelines to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
- Serve as the central communication hub between internal departments, external vendors, and landlords.
- Ensure all constructions meet global brand standards and comply with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Provide regular bilingual progress reports to executive leadership, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in project management within retail expansion, hospitality, or commercial interior fit-outs.
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese and fluent/business-level English.
- Proven track record of independently delivering projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of Japanese construction processes, permitting, and vendor landscape.
- Experience in travel frequency and budget management.
