Prada Group seeks Regional Assistant Finance Manager in Hong Kong to oversee Asia Pacific finance operations, compliance, and accounting accuracy across multiple markets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistency with IFRS and Group accounting policies across APAC markets, providing technical guidance and reviewing month-end closing outputs, P&L, balance sheet, and outsourced provider deliverables
  • Review and challenge balance-sheet reconciliations, high-risk transactions, unusual journal entries, aged items, and recurring exceptions to protect balance-sheet integrity
  • Oversee vendor and customer master-data governance, bank-account controls, and APAC data-quality standards
  • Coordinate audits, statutory financial statements, filings, disclosures, and tax matters with advisors, local teams, and the outsourcing provider
  • Oversee payment accuracy, AP and AR aging, DSO, DPO, working capital, and cash-flow analysis, providing consolidated insights and action plans to management
  • Drive systems, process, and transformation initiatives including Akeron (lease accounting), Ivalua (procurement), automation, standardization, and service-quality improvements
  • Manage outsourcing governance with external providers and local focal points, reviewing SLAs, KPIs, service issues, audit findings, root causes, and remediation actions
  • Support lease accounting, renewals, and planning simulations in coordination with Real Estate, Legal, and FP&A teams

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of IFRS and accounting standards
  • Experience with lease accounting frameworks and ASC 842 or equivalent
  • Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms
  • Demonstrated expertise in outsourcing governance and vendor management
  • Strong understanding of working capital management and cash-flow optimization

Experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification required.
