Prada seeks experienced Retail Merchandising Senior Manager in Tokyo to oversee women's bags and accessories buying, inventory, and sales strategy across Japanese boutiques.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the Women's Bags and Accessories merchandising team and oversee all buying activities in line with headquarters master orders
  • Analyze sales performance, sell-through data, and market trends; prepare weekly sales reports and market analysis for headquarters
  • Handle inventory replenishment and product rebalancing across the regional boutique network in coordination with headquarters regional merchandisers
  • Visit boutiques and shops regularly to provide assistance, monitor stock levels, ensure proper replenishment timing, and identify business opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with headquarters retail merchandising and visual merchandising teams to maintain product availability and brand presentation standards
  • Conduct market analysis focused on regional trends, competitor positioning, and clientele characteristics; communicate findings to headquarters
  • Facilitate seasonal product training and educational sessions for all regional shop staff
  • Develop and enhance sales capabilities of store managers and retail associates through mentoring and coaching
  • Participate in periodic store manager meetings to improve communication effectiveness and operational alignment
