Prada Group — Milan: POS Retail Business Analyst (IT) to manage Oracle Xstore and retail systems for store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business requirements for POS and in‑store solutions and translate them into functional specifications.
- Propose and design application solutions to satisfy retail process requirements, with a focus on Oracle Xstore and its integrations.
- Act as the primary IT contact and consultant for business colleagues on retail system usage and operating procedures.
- Participate as analyst in retail development projects, coordinating testing, acceptance and delivery activities.
- Produce and maintain project documentation, user procedures and training materials.
- Deliver POS system changes and manage deployments in collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Manage relationships with third‑party vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of POS services.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, information technology, computer science or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in national or international IT retail teams and delivery contexts.
- Proven ability to author clear functional specifications and process documentation.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and coordinating multi‑stakeholder delivery.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Skills
Experience
At least three years’ hands‑on experience in IT roles supporting retail POS systems within national or international teams, including participation in project delivery lifecycles and production deployments.
Education
University degree in engineering, information technology, computer science or a related field.
