Role & Responsibilities

  • Translate creative concepts into detailed technical specifications in collaboration with Senior Product Developer and Design, ensuring feasibility and industrial scalability.
  • Manage and supervise the end‑to‑end product development cycle from prototype launch to final product validation, monitoring timing, cost and quality targets.
  • Coordinate development of high‑performance technical garments, prioritizing innovative materials and advanced construction techniques (e.g., waterproof, breathable, thermal, stretch).
  • Interface with pattern makers, suppliers and production partners domestically and internationally to communicate technical specs, collect feedback and manage product revisions.
  • Lead fitting sessions and prototype reviews, identifying and implementing technical and constructural improvements to optimize performance, fit and quality.
  • Enter and update technical data, bills of materials (BOM), material specifications and product documentation within PLM systems to ensure data accuracy and traceability.
  • Support the introduction of new materials, finishes and technological solutions in partnership with Design and Materials teams, aligned with market trends and consumer needs.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout project phases to facilitate clear communication and an efficient, structured workflow.
  • Organize and maintain a prototype and sample archive to build a technical reference history for future collections.
  • Ensure every developed product meets the brand’s qualitative, technical and aesthetic standards.

Qualifications

  • Diploma and/or degree in Fashion, Industrial Design or related discipline.
  • 3–4 years of proven experience in product development for technical/sports apparel or high‑performance garments.
  • Proven proficiency with PLM systems and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken Italian and English.
  • Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and project management capability.
  • Demonstrated interest in material innovation and new textile technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.

Experience

3–4 years in apparel product development, specifically with technical or performance-oriented garments and material innovation.

Education

Diploma and/or degree in Fashion, Industrial Design, Textiles or an equivalent qualification.
