Versace seeks Outlet Retail Merchandising Specialist in Milano. Oversee merchandising budgets, analyse product performance, manage cross-functional teams in luxury fashion environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the merchandising team in developing strategic plans for product categories and influence cross-functional stakeholders to deliver strategic direction
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers across sourcing, design, product development, and planning functions
  • Create effective partnerships with regional merchandising teams to gather product feedback and market research intelligence
  • Analyse daily and weekly sales reports and propose data-driven corrective actions
  • Develop and present range plans for approval, including pricing strategy, cost-of-ownership analysis, and competitive positioning
  • Manage and account for sample budgets across assigned categories, ensuring effective tracking, maintenance, and ordering processes
  • Conduct competitive analysis including pricing benchmarking and market positioning research
  • Partner with the corporate pricing team to understand price-bands across three core currencies and communicate findings to the merchandising team
  • Organize and coordinate collection notes and comprehensive buying guides for internal distribution
  • Support and coordinate all administrative requirements for merchandising team market training initiatives
  • Deliver ad hoc administrative and operational support to ensure seamless team functioning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Fashion Business, or related discipline (BA, BFA, BS or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years of proven design and merchandising experience in a luxury or fashion environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in fashion trend identification and the ability to translate trends into commercially viable collections
  • Proficiency in coordinating multiple concurrent projects with strong stakeholder management and proactive problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced analytical capabilities and expert-level Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Fluency in English (mandatory); additional languages considered advantageous
