Prada Group seeks Lean Manufacturing Leader in Terranuova Bracciolini, Italy—manage global production excellence and drive continuous operational transformation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop continuous improvement of production processes, fostering a Lean Manufacturing culture centered on operational excellence metrics including efficiency, on-time delivery, lead time reduction, defect minimization, and waste elimination.
  • Optimize production facility layouts at both macro and micro levels, enhancing spatial utilization, material flow, and production sequences.
  • Direct and mentor the Lean Engineering team, supporting their professional development and ensuring effective execution of continuous improvement initiatives across all Group production facilities.
  • Ensure alignment of manufacturing processes with Group quality standards through collaboration with Quality functions at both corporate and plant levels.
  • Coordinate and support transformation and continuous improvement projects, monitoring performance, resolving critical issues, and ensuring achievement of defined objectives.
  • Champion Kaizen events and waste reduction initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency, quality, ergonomics, and safety.
  • Establish guidelines and standards for accurate departmental sizing, production line balancing, assembly sequencing, and industrial process design.
  • Facilitate the introduction of industrial innovations, automation solutions, digital manufacturing technologies (MES), performance monitoring systems, and process verticalization initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Management, Industrial, or related disciplines)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Business Intelligence tools
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Strong problem-solving orientation, leadership capability, and proven ability to drive organizational change
  • Willingness to travel internationally and within Italy as required

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Gestionale, Industriale, or related disciplines)

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 70,000 to EUR 90,000 per annum.
