- Specify non-functional requirements (performance, availability, security, observability) and oversee capacity planning, performance tuning and incident response readiness.
- Drive vendor selection and manage relationships with technology providers and integrators, negotiating scope and ensuring adherence to enterprise standards.
- Produce and maintain architecture documentation, runbooks, APIs (OpenAPI/GraphQL specifications) and transition plans for phased rollouts and migrations.
- Mentor engineers and architects, promote best practices (CI/CD, IaC, automated testing) and contribute to the e‑commerce technology roadmap.
Qualifications
- Proven experience designing large‑scale e‑commerce or digital commerce platforms, preferably within luxury retail or premium consumer brands.
- Demonstrable mastery of cloud architecture principles and multi‑cloud or hybrid deployments.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business leaders.
- Relevant architecture certifications are advantageous (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF).
- Fluency in software development lifecycles and modern engineering practices including CI/CD, containerization and infrastructure as code.
