Role & Responsibilities

  • Support preparation of divisional budgets and forecasts by gathering required data and translating CEO cost and margin targets by product family and manufacturing site.
  • Prepare, consolidate and present monthly and weekly reports on divisional performance, including cost analyses, margin variance, overheads, production KPIs and operating results.
  • Investigate variances versus budget to identify drivers such as raw material price movements, contract manufacturing costs, consumption rates and departmental efficiencies down to single-item detail.
  • Monitor inventories of finished goods and raw materials on a weekly basis to verify alignment with stock targets and follow up on recovery actions.
  • Verify that standard costs remain consistent with targets each season and ensure budgeted profitability.
  • Track sample collection costs and finished-goods delivery timings to warehouses to support commercial channel requirements.
  • Report monthly on product defectiveness and contribute to root-cause analyses.
  • Analyze management income statements and support cross-functional information exchange with line functions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of controlling processes and support evaluation of investment proposals (ROI, payback, make-or-buy analyses).

Qualifications

  • Degree in Economics, Statistics or Management Engineering (final-year students and recent graduates considered).
  • Strong analytical aptitude with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Good command of English.
  • Reliable, autonomous and able to perform under deadline pressure; strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate analyses and recommend corrective actions to operational stakeholders.
