Miu Miu is hiring a Field Retail Trainer in Tokyo to coach store teams, develop talent, and drive brand excellence through on-site training and performance coaching.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct store visits to provide real-time coaching and feedback to retail teams on sales techniques and customer engagement
- Observe store environments and identify targeted training opportunities aligned with brand standards
- Measure training effectiveness through before-and-after coaching assessments and performance tracking
- Support new staff onboarding and integration into store operations and culture
- Facilitate in-store training sessions covering sales techniques, product knowledge, and brand protocols
- Analyze training performance data and provide administrative support to the training function
- Collaborate with the Retail Trainer to share insights, identify trends, and propose continuous improvements
Qualifications
- Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of direct retail sales experience
- Minimum 3 years of staff coaching or development experience
- Advanced communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Demonstrated analytical and logical reasoning capabilities

Minimum 3 years of retail sales experience combined with a minimum of 3 years in a coaching or mentoring capacity, preferably within a luxury retail or customer-facing environment. The candidate should demonstrate proven capability in observing performance, delivering constructive feedback, and driving measurable behavioral improvement.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary education in business, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
