Prada Group seeks a Department Manager in Taoyuan to lead retail sales team, drive targets, and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive department team to exceed financial targets and maximize sales performance, contributing to overall store success
- Support Store Manager in developing and implementing department business plans through performance analysis and action plan proposals
- Ensure department team achieves KPI targets and fosters cross-selling and upselling across product categories
- Maintain sales floor presence to uphold highest service standards and client-centric approach
- Promote omni-channel awareness and digital tool adoption to strengthen client relationships and achieve business objectives
- Foster e-commerce channel development through timely order fulfillment and consistent service excellence
- Stay current with market trends and share insights with relevant functions to inform commercial strategy
- Ensure product displays attract clients and maximize sales in accordance with company guidelines
- Lead by example to create welcoming environment, model exceptional client service, and maintain positive team energy
- Develop and maintain solid client relationships, execute brand selling ceremonies, and ensure client satisfaction
- Proactively identify opportunities to acquire new clients and strengthen loyalty through clienteling initiatives
- Manage customer complaints professionally to preserve positive client relationships
- Act as staff motivator, promoting team spirit and positive workplace environment through effective communication
- Conduct morning briefings on relevant topics and facilitate information exchange within the team
- Train and develop department sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, client services, and company policies
- Identify internal talent and propose for development opportunities in collaboration with Store Manager
- Provide team coaching and follow-ups on individual action plans to ensure continuous development
- Support Store Manager in market research and staffing initiatives
- Ensure team operates with highest standards of product care and respect through example and procedure adherence
- Support coordination between front and back of house operations
- Enforce company procedures on cash activity, inventory, logistics, and reporting requirements
- Contribute to effective asset protection and care of company property
- Provide feedback to Store Manager regarding departmental needs and visual/retail merchandising requirements
- Maintain effective back-of-house organization and ensure staff grooming standards compliance
- Ensure proactive implementation of company policies and procedures across all departmental operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail sales management or equivalent leadership role
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and financial objectives
- Strong understanding of retail operations, client relationship management, and omni-channel commerce
- Proficiency with retail management systems, point-of-sale software, and digital tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership capability with ability to motivate and coach team members
- Client-centric mindset with commitment to service excellence
- Knowledge of luxury brand positioning and product knowledge development
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive sales or retail management experience, preferably within luxury retail. Demonstrated success in leading sales teams, driving revenue targets, and implementing retail strategies. Previous experience in a department management or senior sales advisor role is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent). Further educational qualifications in business, retail management, or hospitality are advantageous.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Taoyuan, Taoyuan, Taiwan, with easy access to Taipei.
