Prada Group seeks a Data Visualization Intern in Milan to support Power BI dashboarding, ETL and stakeholder reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end data visualization solutions and dashboards using enterprise tools such as Power BI for desktop and mobile consumption.
- Gather and translate business and technical requirements from stakeholders into optimal data models and visualization specifications.
- Develop and deploy ETL processes and data transformations using big-data and cloud platforms (e.g., Databricks), in collaboration with DWH owners and Data Architects.
- Implement SQL-based data extraction, modeling and optimization to support reporting and analytics workloads.
- Develop or extend custom visuals where required (Power BI custom visuals using TypeScript/React or libraries such as D3.js/Vega-Lite).
- Communicate progress, issues and maintenance plans regularly to cross-functional stakeholders and support handover of deliverables.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related STEM discipline.
- Academic or practical experience designing and implementing Power BI dashboards for desktop and mobile audiences.
- Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with ETL principles and cloud-based data platforms (Databricks preferred).
- Basic understanding of Power BI custom visuals development and front-end libraries (TypeScript, React, D3.js, Vega-Lite).
- Familiarity with data warehouse environments (Oracle, MS SQL Server) and Agile fundamentals.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Italian.

Entry-level — recent graduate or final-year master’s student with academic projects or internships demonstrating Power BI dashboarding, SQL-based data work and exposure to ETL/cloud platforms.
Education
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics or related STEM discipline.
