Prada Group — Milan: Consolidated Financial Reporting Specialist (maternity cover). Temporary role reporting to the Group Consolidation Director.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Independently manage assigned consolidation areas and prepare sections of the notes to the consolidated financial statements.
  • Analyse accounting impacts of extraordinary transactions including acquisitions, disposals, mergers and reorganisations.
  • Prepare the consolidated cash flow statement, reconcile Group equity and compile documentation for impairment testing.
  • Support subsidiaries on accounting for lease contracts in accordance with IFRS 16.
  • Liaise with Group administrative departments and other AFC functions to secure high-quality data inputs and optimise closing processes.
  • Interact with external auditors on relevant consolidation areas and contribute to strengthening internal controls.
  • Support digitalisation, automation and standardisation projects for reporting processes.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
  • 2–4 years' experience in an audit firm or within a consolidated financial reporting function.
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS, with specific familiarity with IFRS 16.
  • Proven ability to prepare consolidated financial statements and notes, including cash flow statements and impairment testing documentation.
  • Good command of English.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, demonstrating autonomy, reliability and leadership.

Experience

Degree in Economics, Finance or a related discipline.
