Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in defining business strategies to exceed financial targets and maximize sales performance across the entire store
  • Make commercial recommendations to the Store Manager and relevant functions to generate sales and increase productivity
  • Coach the sales team in developing action plans to exceed KPI targets, including cross-selling and upselling across product categories
  • Act as a strong staff motivator, promoting team spirit through effective communication and cultivating a positive, energetic environment visible to clients
  • Lead by example to ensure the team operates with the highest level of care and respect for products through all ceremonies and procedures
  • Actively participate in the recruitment process, including market mapping, profile definition, and interview coordination under Store Manager guidance
  • Support the Store Manager in identifying internal talent and defining development processes for career progression opportunities
  • Master all company tools and applications, including IT and digital systems, and train new employees on policies and procedures

  • Define targeted clientelling actions with the Store Manager to strengthen customer loyalty
  • Partner with the Store Manager to ensure displays attract clients and maximize sales in accordance with company guidelines
  • Contribute feedback and suggestions to the Visual Merchandising and Retail Merchandising departments as needed
  • Ensure enforcement of company procedures on cash activity, inventory, logistics, and all main reporting activities requested by head office
  • Guarantee effective and efficient care of company assets in the back of house and ensure cooperation with front-of-house teams
  • Ensure staff grooming meets company standards and promote synergy between front and back of house
  • Ensure the store complies with inventory control management requirements and organization of fiscal stock inventory activities
  • Propose new opportunities for local events in partnership with local stakeholders following company guidelines
  • Analyze and define benchmarks with local competitors' events and share insights with head office events department
  • Maintain current knowledge of market trends and share insights with relevant functions
  • Ensure the team is updated on all company activities and initiatives through internal communications

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Store Manager or equivalent supervisory role in luxury retail
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities with demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire staff
  • Excellent client-facing skills with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Sound business acumen with the ability to analyze reports and develop strategic action plans
  • Proficiency in company tools and applications, including IT and digital platforms
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising and retail merchandising principles
  • Understanding of inventory management and financial reporting procedures

Education

Secondary education required; tertiary education in business administration, management, or a related discipline is preferred.
