Confidential luxury fashion house — Milan: Showroom Dresser position supporting fittings, sample care and client appointments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain garments for client appointments and press viewings, including steaming, pressing and minor hand-finishing.
- Dress clients, buyers and press during fittings and showroom appointments with sensitivity to fit, styling guidance and brand standards.
- Manage sample organization and tracking: record movements, check returns, flag damages and coordinate repairs or alterations with ateliers.
- Ensure the showroom and fit rooms are immaculate and presentation-ready at all times; execute visual refreshes between appointments.
- Support sales and clienteling teams during peak periods and fashion events, including rapid turnaround of garments and ad hoc styling tasks.
- Maintain strict confidentiality around clients, collections and proprietary samples; follow inventory and security procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a luxury showroom, couture atelier, high-end retail or similar environment.
- Expertise in garment care: professional steaming, pressing and basic hand-sewing/temporary hemming.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong manual dexterity and an understanding of fabric behaviour (silk, wool, leather, delicate trims).
- Discreet, professional manner with the ability to interact courteously with clients, stylists and buyers.
- Physical stamina and flexibility to work appointment-driven schedules, including irregular hours during collections or events.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of experience in a luxury showroom, couture atelier, bespoke tailoring environment or high-end retail; equivalent vocational experience accepted.
Education
Vocational diploma or certificate in fashion, textiles, tailoring or a related discipline preferred; formal training in garment technology or couture techniques advantageous.

The successful candidate will be located in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.
