Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is hiring a Department Manager to lead a luxury retail team at MBS, driving sales and guest experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the assigned retail department to achieve sales targets, margin and KPI objectives.
- Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing sales team; set individual targets, conduct performance reviews and deliver continuous training.
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards and personalised clienteling consistent with a luxury retail environment.
- Manage visual merchandising, stock levels and inventory controls to optimise sell-through and minimise loss.
- Plan and execute promotions, seasonal merchandising resets and new product launches in coordination with marketing and buying teams.
- Analyse sales performance and financial metrics; prepare reports and implement corrective action to improve commercial outcomes.
- Own scheduling, labour optimisation and compliance with company SOPs, health & safety and loss-prevention policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including security, facilities, events and F&B to ensure seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in luxury retail or high-end hospitality retail, with a demonstrable track record of meeting sales and margin targets.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L, KPIs and inventory.
- Outstanding interpersonal and clienteling skills; ability to drive personalised service for discerning guests.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Experience
Typically requires 3–5 years of progressive management experience in luxury retail or hospitality retail, including team leadership and responsibility for sales targets and inventory management.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
