PRADA Department Manager — Istanbul: lead a boutique department, drive sales and client experience for Prada in Istanbul.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of a designated boutique department to deliver exceptional client experiences and achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and coach a team of sales advisors: set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and implement ongoing training to elevate selling and clienteling standards.
  • Drive client acquisition and retention through personalised clienteling, CRM utilisation and follow-up on VIP appointments and private sales.
  • Own merchandising execution and visual standards for the department, ensuring product presentation, floor sets and stock rotation align with brand directives.
  • Manage inventory controls, stock replenishment and loss-prevention measures in collaboration with store management and logistics.
  • Analyse sales performance and financial indicators; prepare reports and propose tactical actions to maximise conversion and average transaction value.
  • Ensure exemplary service after-sale, handling escalated client enquiries, bespoke requests and complaints with discretion and brand-appropriate resolution.
  • Collaborate with store leadership on local marketing, events and store-level initiatives to enhance footfall and brand visibility.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in luxury retail with at least 2 years in a supervisory or department manager role (3–5 years total retail experience preferred).
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen with experience meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing departmental budgets.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills, including coaching, performance management and talent development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, professional presentation and an unwavering client-service orientation.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods; ability to travel locally as required.

Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Fashion, Retail Management or a related discipline preferred.
