Prada Department Manager role in Hong Kong: lead sales team, drive targets, and deliver luxury client experiences in fast-paced retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive the Department team to exceed financial targets and maximize sales performance and contribution to store success
  • Support the Store Manager in developing and implementing business plans through analysis of departmental performance and relevant action plans
  • Lead the Department team to exceed KPI targets and foster cross-selling and upselling opportunities across product categories
  • Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor, ensuring the highest standards of client approach and service delivery
  • Promote omni-channel awareness amongst the team and encourage utilization of digital tools to enhance client relationships and achieve business objectives
  • Foster e-commerce channel development through timely order fulfillment and consistent high-service standards
  • Remain current on market trends, particularly within the department's category, and disseminate insights to relevant functions
  • Ensure visual displays attract clients and maximize sales in accordance with company guidelines
  • Create a welcoming, client-centric environment by leading by example and ensuring the team meets all client needs and requests
  • Develop and maintain solid client relationships, enforce meaningful after-sales experiences, and execute the 'Brand Selling Ceremony' to guarantee excellent client satisfaction
  • Proactively identify opportunities to acquire new clients and strengthen existing client loyalty through clienteling initiatives
  • Address customer complaints proactively to maintain positive client relationships
  • Act as a staff motivator, promoting team spirit through effective communication and cultivating a positive, energetic environment
  • Facilitate information exchange within the team through regular morning briefings on key topics
  • Master all company tools and applications, including IT and digital systems, and keep the team informed of relevant updates
  • Train and inspire the department sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, client service, and company policies and procedures
  • Identify talented team members and propose them for internal development opportunities in collaboration with the Store Manager
  • Guarantee team development through coaching and follow-ups on individual action plans
  • Support the Store Manager in market research and candidate mapping activities
  • Lead by example to ensure the team operates with the highest level of care and respect for the product
  • Support synergy and cooperation between front and back of house functions

  • Provide feedback and suggestions concerning departmental needs to the Store Manager, Visual Merchandising, and Retail Merchandising departments

  • Ensure company policies and procedures are proactively implemented whilst managing all operational activities related to the department

Experience
