Data Visualization Intern at a leading luxury maison in Milan — support dashboard development and analytics to inform commercial decisions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Translate business questions into interactive dashboards and visual reports that enable commercial and merchandising decisions.
  • Prepare, clean and transform raw datasets for analysis; ensure data integrity and reproducibility of pipelines.
  • Design clear visualisations and layouts that communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with e‑commerce, merchandising, marketing and IT teams to gather requirements and prioritise reporting needs.
  • Support ad-hoc analyses, performance tracking and month‑end reporting; document methodology and maintain dashboard catalogue.
  • Present findings and visual narratives to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into iterative dashboard improvements.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable coursework or project experience building dashboards or analytic visualisations.
  • Strong analytical reasoning and ability to translate business needs into data products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with capacity to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data quality and reproducible workflows.

Experience

Practical experience via university projects, coursework or previous internships building visualisations, dashboards or conducting data analysis; exposure to cross‑functional business contexts preferred.

Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems or a related field.
