The Counter Manager leads Prada Beauty retail operations and client experience at David Jones Chatswood, reporting to the Retail Business Manager. This permanent, part-time role is 30 hours per week on a fortnightly rotating roster, with specified weekday, weekend and late-night shifts.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead retail operations and the client experience for Prada Beauty at David Jones Chatswood, reporting to the Retail Business Manager.
- Drive daily sales targets and retail KPIs through elevated service standards and personalised fragrance consultations.
- Coach and guide the counter team in brand storytelling, clienteling and product artistry to build repeat clientele.
- Oversee inventory replenishment, stock audits and visual merchandising standards to maintain an immaculate counter presentation.
- Partner with David Jones floor management to coordinate counter animations, VIP masterclasses and promotional retail moments.
Qualifications
- A proven track record of driving retail sales performance and operational standards in department-store environments.
- Practical ability to coach, support and align a retail team around shared sales targets.
- A track record of building long-term client relationships and managing high-touch clienteling activities.
- Strong organisational skills in stock management, merchandising compliance and counter coordination.
- Full availability across the designated fortnightly roster, including late-night trading, weekends and campaign launches.
