Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver consolidated financial statements and related disclosures in compliance with IFRS and applicable local GAAP for month, quarter and year-end close cycles.
- Perform consolidation adjustments, elimination entries and minority interest calculations; maintain consolidation schedules and supporting working papers.
- Reconcile intercompany balances and transactions, resolve discrepancies with local finance teams and ensure timely intercompany clearance.
- Coordinate with external auditors and internal control teams during statutory and group audits; provide schedules, explanations and remediation actions as required.
- Support preparation of ad hoc management reporting, variance analysis and financial commentary for senior finance stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of consolidation processes, internal controls and reporting automation initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for group consolidation queries during the maternity cover period, ensuring continuity and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent; advanced degree or professional accounting qualification preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and practical understanding of local GAAP implications for consolidation.
- Proven expertise in consolidation processes, intercompany reconciliations and preparation of group financial statements.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with auditors and to support external audit deliverables.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet tight period-end deadlines.

Education
