Prada seeks a Client Advisor for its flagship Fifth Avenue location in New York. The role centers on embodying the brand's heritage of excellence and innovation while delivering an exceptional luxury experience. The successful candidate will act as a brand ambassador, cultivating meaningful client relationships, driving sales through personalized service, and maintaining the highest standards of in-store presentation and product knowledge.
Role & Responsibilities
- Place the customer at the center by creating a welcoming environment and meeting their every need in accordance with the company's client journey ceremony
- Capture customer data into the company CRM to develop personalized relationships and future sales opportunities
- Welcome and serve customers with excellent in-store experience at all times
- Proactively engage in cross-selling across all departments and maximize sales opportunities to achieve individual targets and KPIs
- Maintain current knowledge of fashion trends, competitor offerings, and comprehensive brand and product knowledge
- Handle customer complaints effectively in liaison with the line manager when necessary
- Ensure shop floor and visual displays meet high standards while complying with company operational guidelines and stock procedures
- Contribute to store security and loss prevention measures
- Embrace the omni-channel mindset and work collaboratively with colleagues to foster an inclusive, positive working environment
Qualifications
- Passion for selling and luxury retail environments
- Genuine curiosity and interest in luxury, fashion, art, and design
- Demonstrated experience building long-lasting client relationships
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ambition, resilience, self-motivation, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Passion and knowledge of the managed product category
- Fluency in English (additional languages are advantageous)
Skills
Experience
Experience in luxury retail or high-end sales environments is preferred. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing client loyalty in a similar setting is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in fashion, retail management, or business is a plus.
