Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-touch, personalised service to affluent clients; build long-term client relationships and manage follow-up communications.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive selling, cross-selling and personalised recommendations.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across collections, materials and craftsmanship to advise clients accurately.
- Manage clienteling activities using the store CRM: record interactions, update preferences and schedule private appointments.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions, handle cash and gift receipts with strict accuracy and adherence to procedures.
- Support visual merchandising and the upkeep of boutique presentation standards to reflect brand aesthetics.
- Assist with inventory control: receive stock, conduct cycle counts, execute replenishment and report discrepancies.
- Represent the brand at in-store events and trunk shows; deliver exceptional after-sales service and handle client enquiries or returns professionally.
- Adhere to loss-prevention, compliance and brand security protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven record of retail sales success, preferably within the luxury, fashion or accessories sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a client-focused demeanour.
- Strong numeracy and transactional accuracy for cash handling and POS operations.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods.
- Ability to work as part of a high-performing boutique team and contribute to a collaborative environment.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of direct retail or client-facing sales experience, ideally within a luxury or premium fashion environment. Demonstrable achievement against sales targets and experience using CRM and POS platforms is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or post-secondary coursework in retail, fashion, hospitality or related fields is advantageous.
