Role & Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and execute catering services for brand events, store openings, private client appointments and press presentations in Milan and surrounding venues.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders — events, retail, PR and client services — to translate brand requirements into catering briefs and event-level hospitality execution.
- Source, evaluate and manage external caterers and suppliers; negotiate contracts, confirm menus and secure on-time delivery and set-up.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene and regulatory requirements are met (supplier certifications, HACCP compliance, permits) and coordinate onsite inspections when required.
- Manage event budgets, monitor costs, approve supplier invoices and deliver post-event reconciliations and reporting.
- Oversee on-site service teams during events, ensuring impeccable presentation, guest flow, and rapid resolution of operational issues.
- Develop and maintain standardized catering specifications, menus and presentation guidelines consistent with brand aesthetic and sustainability targets.
- Maintain inventories of catering equipment and consumables; coordinate logistics for transport, storage and return of rented items.
Qualifications
- Professional experience in catering operations or events for luxury brands, hospitality groups or high-end venues.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and supplier certification systems (HACCP or equivalent).
- Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous events with strict attention to detail and brand presentation.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier contracts and vendor relationships.
- Excellent organisational skills, commercial acumen and proficiency with budgeting and cost control.

Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in event catering, food & beverage operations or hospitality—preferably within luxury retail, fashion events, hotels or high-end catering firms.
Education
Diploma or degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, event management or a related field preferred; professional food-safety certification advantageous.
