Prada Cashier position in Roermond, Netherlands. Manage cash, payments, and POS operations in a luxury retail setting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform cash opening procedures and verify cash availability at the start of each shift
- Process payments in cash, credit cards, cheques, and traveller's cheques with careful verification using company tools (Centax, Bank In Shop devices)
- Verify credit card transactions by requesting valid identity documentation from cardholders
- Manage and resolve technical and accounting issues related to POS systems in consultation with IT support
- Collect and input customer personal data into the CRM database in accordance with data protection protocols
- Issue sales invoices and tax-free documentation as required
- Apply employee discounts in strict compliance with company policies
- Process merchandise returns and store credit transactions
- Manage CITES documentation for restricted products
- Close the till daily by verifying, reconciling, and reporting all takings
- Compile daily reports and transmit summary files to administration
- Prepare payment slips and supporting documentation for collection with verification of accuracy
- Report all equipment malfunctions and software issues (PCs, tax recorders, printers, BeanStore, SAP)
Qualifications
- Proven experience in store operations, cash handling, or related retail roles
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash management
- Ability to manage multiple payment methods and currency exchanges
- Knowledge of tax-free sales procedures
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in store operations, cash handling, stock management, or equivalent retail roles within a luxury or high-end retail environment preferred.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; certification in retail operations or cash management is advantageous.
