Prada in Milan seeks a Cashier (m/f/d) to manage luxury retail transactions and provide high-touch client service in the boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the boutique point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash, card and alternative payment methods.
  • Manage cash drawer: open/close procedures, daily reconciliations and secure handling of takings in accordance with company policy.
  • Deliver high-touch, personalised service to clients, ensuring the standard of luxury hospitality and maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Support clienteling activities by capturing accurate client data, coordinating follow-ups and assisting with sales appointments as required.
  • Handle returns, exchanges and special order transactions in line with store procedures and brand guidelines.
  • Assist the sales floor team with merchandising, stock replenishment and maintaining an immaculate boutique presentation.
  • Adhere to loss-prevention, cash-control and compliance procedures; report discrepancies or suspicious activity promptly.
  • Contribute to a cohesive team environment through clear communication, punctuality and professional grooming standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Legal authorization to work in Italy.
  • Proven integrity and reliability with strong numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a polished, service-oriented demeanour appropriate for luxury retail.
  • Experience in cash handling and POS operation; prior experience in luxury or premium retail is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible retail hours including evenings and weekends.

Experience
