Prada Brand Store Manager role in Madrid, Spain – lead luxury retail store, drive sales, manage team, and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive store team to exceed financial targets and maximize sales performance, determining overall store success
- Develop action plans through careful analysis of performance data and market opportunities
- Lead store team to exceed KPI targets, including cross-selling and upselling across product categories
- Represent the company within the local market, identifying foot-flow opportunities and building loyal client relationships
- Maintain presence on the sales floor to ensure highest standards of client service and approach
- Foster omni-channel awareness and encourage team adoption of digital tools to enhance client relationships and business performance
- Support e-commerce channel development through timely order response and consistent high-quality service
- Monitor store expenses and manage operations within approved budgets
- Provide product feedback based on store needs and participate in buying sessions when requested
- Place the client at the forefront by leading by example and creating a welcoming environment
- Develop and maintain solid client relationships with meaningful after-sales experiences
- Execute the Brand Selling Ceremony to guarantee excellent client satisfaction and service standards
- Manage local VIC (Very Important Clients) program, tailoring actions to develop loyalty and spending
- Implement clienteling initiatives and events in partnership with corporate functions to secure client loyalty
- Proactively identify opportunities to attract new clients and grow store sales
- Foster a strong private appointment culture within the team
- Resolve customer complaints proactively while maintaining positive client relationships
- Act as a motivator for staff, promoting team spirit through effective communication and positive environment
- Encourage information exchange and lead morning briefings on relevant topics
- Ensure team proficiency with company tools, applications, IT systems, and digital platforms
- Train and inspire the store team on product knowledge, sales techniques, client services, and company policies
- Identify internal talents and propose them for development opportunities in collaboration with the Retail Operations Manager
- Guarantee team development through coaching and individual action plan follow-ups
- Attract and recruit top talent through networking and market scouting
- Ensure strong cooperation between front and back-of-house operations
- Lead by example to ensure the team operates with care and respect for products in all procedures
- Ensure displays attract clients and maximize sales in accordance with company guidelines
- Guarantee effective and efficient care of company assets
- Enforce company procedures on cash activity, inventory, logistics, and reporting activities
- Provide feedback and suggestions to Visual Merchandising and Retail Merchandising departments
- Cooperate with retail head office on organization of local events with realistic client targets

- Propose opportunities for local events in partnership with local stakeholders and influencers
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar leadership role in luxury retail
- Strong track record of exceeding financial targets and driving sales performance
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent client service orientation with experience managing VIP clientele
- Proficiency with retail management systems and digital tools
- Experience with omni-channel retail operations
- Knowledge of visual merchandising principles and retail operations best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive retail management experience, ideally in luxury fashion or premium brands, with demonstrated success in driving sales targets, managing teams, and delivering exceptional client experiences. Prior experience in multi-brand retail environments or managing high-traffic boutiques is highly valued.
Education
Secondary education required; bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field is preferred.
