Miu Miu seeks Assistant Store Director for London flagship. Lead store operations, drive sales, and champion luxury brand experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Director in defining business strategies to exceed financial targets and maximize sales performance, contributing to the overall success of the store
- Make commercial recommendations to relevant departments to drive sales and improve productivity
- Coach the store team in developing clear action plans to exceed KPI targets, including cross-selling and up-selling across product categories
- Stay consistently informed about market trends and share insights with relevant teams
- Act as a brand ambassador by representing the company both within the local market and on the shop floor, ensuring a professional approach and high standard of service to clients
- Promote omni-channel awareness among the team, encouraging and supporting the use of digital tools to enhance client relationships and achieve business objectives
- Support the development of the e-commerce channel by responding promptly to orders and maintaining a high standard of service
- Encourage product knowledge across the shop floor and collaborate with relevant departments to address training needs related to products and collections
- Act as a strong motivator for staff, fostering team spirit through effective communication and cultivating a positive and energetic environment
- Actively participate in the recruitment process, either alongside or on behalf of the Store Director
- Prioritise the client experience, leading by example to create a welcoming environment and ensuring the team strives to meet every client need and request
- Promote a client-centric mindset by developing and maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring meaningful after-sales experiences
- Ensure excellent client satisfaction and the highest level of service by consistently executing the Prada Selling Ceremony
- Proactively suggest opportunities to the Store Director for acquiring new clients and increasing the repurchase rate
- Collaborate with the Store Director to define targeted clienteling actions aimed at strengthening customer loyalty
- In partnership with the Store Director, ensure visual displays attract clients and maximize sales, in line with company guidelines
- Work with the Store Director to provide feedback and suggestions to the Visual Merchandising and Retail Merchandising departments when necessary
- Ensure compliance with company procedures regarding cash handling, inventory, logistics, and all key reporting activities required by Head Office
- Collaborate with the Store Director to ensure effective and efficient care of company assets and promote cooperation between back of house and front of house teams
- Ensure staff grooming standards are consistently met
- Promote synergy and collaboration between front and back of house teams
- Ensure the store meets requirements for inventory control and manages all activities related to fiscal stock inventory
- Analyse and benchmark local competitors' events and share relevant information with the Head Office Events department
Qualifications
- Experience within a luxury retail environment
- Genuine enthusiasm for fashion, art, and the broader luxury ethos
- Solid understanding of the luxury market and product specifics
- Strong focus on people, demonstrated through the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team
- CRM and clienteling experience
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong commercial awareness
- Awareness of local employment and retail legislation
- Willingness to work flexibly as required to meet the operational needs of the store
Skills
Experience
Extensive experience in luxury retail leadership, with demonstrated success in managing store operations, driving sales performance, and leading high-performing teams. Proven track record in client relationship management and omni-channel retail environments.
Education
Secondary education or higher; further retail management qualifications are desirable but not essential.
