Prada Group seeks Assistant Finance Manager in Hong Kong to manage multi-market finance operations across Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan with focus on compliance and outsourced model coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and support month-end closing activities for Hong Kong and Macau, including general ledger review, closing schedules, internal reporting and external reporting requirements
  • Liaise with auditors and compile statutory financial statements in accordance with HKIFRS, local accounting standards and applicable statutory requirements
  • Support and review lease management system data, ensuring completeness, accuracy and proper alignment with finance, real estate and accounting requirements
  • Prepare schedules and work closely with tax representatives and advisors on tax returns, tax computations and related supporting documentation
  • Support and resolve critical daily operational issues for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities, including payment matters, invoice issues, reconciliations and stakeholder follow-up
  • Coordinate and prepare budget and forecast inputs for Hong Kong and Macau, including expense assumptions, variance analysis and corrective measures
  • Act as Local Focal Point for Taiwan market under outsourced finance operating model, coordinating matters between Regional Finance and the external accounting provider
  • Translate Regional Finance instructions into Taiwan market actions, confirming owners, deadlines and required evidence
  • Maintain and monitor Taiwan approval matrix, signatory limits and delegation-of-authority records to ensure proper transaction approvals
  • Validate Taiwan market submissions before handoff, including sales reconciliations, payment requests, accruals and supporting documents
  • Coordinate Taiwan month-end cut-off, bank and cash items, balance-sheet explanations and cash-flow inputs
  • Coordinate Taiwan audit, tax and compliance requests from auditors, tax advisors and statutory authorities
  • Monitor outsourcing service KPIs, turnaround times and error rates for Taiwan; participate in governance meetings as required
  • Track exceptions, resolve local blockers and escalate delays or recurring issues in a timely manner
  • Streamline processes and provide remediation plans for internal control gaps and operational inefficiencies

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in finance and accounting operations in a multi-market environment
  • Strong knowledge of HKIFRS and local accounting standards
  • Experience with month-end close processes and statutory financial reporting
  • Familiarity with outsourced finance operating models and inter-company coordination
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders across finance, audit, tax and real estate functions

Experience

5–7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, preferably within a multinational luxury goods company or similar operating environment spanning multiple markets. Prior experience with outsourced accounting service models and coordination between local, regional and third-party finance functions is strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline. Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA or equivalent) is preferred.
