Pomellato seeks a Store Manager for its Monterrey boutique. Drive sales, lead teams, and manage operations in luxury fine jewelry retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all store functions as a professional role model, demonstrating disciplined work habits and positive customer attitudes
- Ensure exceptional Pomellato customer experience through all interactions, greeting and recognizing each client with knowledge of products and service excellence
- Drive achievement of store sales and CRM objectives established by senior management and monitor team sales performance
- Build and develop a network of contacts and clients to expand the customer base locally and internationally
- Minimize customer complaints through effective service aligned with store policy
- Generate ongoing market intelligence and collaborate with Store Direction to develop and implement sales maximization plans
- Coordinate with corporate office to maintain appropriate merchandise stock levels, adjacencies, and presentations across all collections
- Maintain inventory and pricing according to corporate standards; conduct regular audits and receive deliveries while resolving discrepancies promptly
- Report suspected theft by customers or employees immediately to appropriate parties
- Maintain store standards in compliance with corporate policy
- Oversee employee purchase transactions
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through staff meetings, store visits, and audits
- Continuously evaluate performance issues and actively recruit qualified sales candidates
- Train and develop sales assistants across all business aspects and direct staff training and development
- Partner with Human Resources on annual employee performance reviews
- Instruct store personnel on job responsibilities continuously, including shipment coordination, repairs, and supply ordering
- Provide appropriate staffing levels at all times; interview and approve all potential staff with corporate authorization
- Prepare and submit schedules according to corporate policy; approve all time-off requests
- Maintain a qualified talent pipeline through professional networks
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in retail, with luxury sector experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills for client and senior management interaction
- Professional customer relations and service delivery capabilities
- Basic computer literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of supervisory experience in retail environments, with luxury retail experience preferred. Demonstrated success in driving sales, managing teams, and delivering exceptional customer service in a retail setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management certification or training is advantageous.
