Pomellato Store Director position at Ginza Boutique in Tokyo. Lead luxury retail operations, drive sales, and represent the brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all business operations at the boutique location, ensuring achievement of sales targets and commercial objectives
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and market presence
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with VIC/VIP clients through personalised clienteling and CRM activities
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and client service team
- Oversee customer experience across all touchpoints, ensuring service excellence aligned with brand standards
- Ensure compliance with visual merchandising guidelines and maintain immaculate product display and store presentation
- Manage inventory, stock control, and operational procedures to optimise efficiency and profitability
- Represent Pomellato's brand values and heritage to clients, partners, and the local luxury community
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reporting to regional management
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or Store Director in luxury retail, preferably in high-jewellery or luxury goods
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a luxury retail environment
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities
- Excellent customer service orientation with experience in VIP/clienteling programmes
- Knowledge of visual merchandising and brand presentation standards
- Proficiency in retail management systems and CRM platforms
- Fluency in English and Japanese required
Skills
Experience
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive retail management experience in luxury fashion, jewellery, or high-end goods, with at least 3 years in a Store Manager or Store Director role. Experience managing boutiques in major metropolitan luxury markets is highly valued. Proven track record of driving sales growth, building and leading high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional client experiences in upscale retail settings.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent professional experience in luxury retail management.
