Pomellato in Milan seeks a Sales Merchandiser to drive assortment strategy across retail, wholesale and franchising channels.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement regional assortment strategies across retail, wholesale and franchise channels, ensuring alignment with store clusters and the global product strategy.
- Analyse sales performance by product, channel and region to prioritise actions and generate actionable commercial insights.
- Conduct order analyses for business partners to enhance assortment efficiency and maximise sell-through.
- Monitor stock levels and lead rebalancing activities to optimise assortment and availability within the country.
- Prepare and present competitor and market analyses to Corporate Merchandising for monthly reviews and ad-hoc requests.
- Support seasonal buying cycles through preparation, analysis and reporting of assortment plans and sell-through expectations.
- Collect and consolidate market feedback on product needs, client preferences and local trends, communicating insights to HQ Merchandising.
- Collaborate with Sales, CRM, Training and Marketing teams to identify commercial opportunities and propose recommendations to improve sales performance.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Consolidated experience in merchandising or buying roles within luxury retail.
- Proven ability to translate sales data into commercial recommendations.
- Strong communication and organisational skills with an aptitude for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
