Pomellato Commercial Operations Specialist, New York – Support wholesale strategy and department store partnerships in luxury jewelry. $60K–$65K annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support strategic authorized retail partnerships, particularly department store accounts, ensuring exceptional service and execution of commercial initiatives to drive account growth
- Manage EDI processes for UPC and SKU data across the wholesale network
- Prepare and manage wholesale proposals, assortments, and commercial documentation for retail partners
- Generate and distribute weekly, monthly, and annual sales performance reports across department store and wholesale accounts to identify opportunities and support commercial decision-making
- Serve as trusted business partner to VP of Wholesale, prioritizing initiatives, resolving business challenges, and executing commercial strategies to increase sales and market share
- Partner with Regional Sales Managers and VP of Wholesale in developing product presentations and training materials
- Manage incentive programs for the wholesale network
- Track and oversee returns to vendor (RTVs), merchandise swaps, consignments, and related operational processes
- Provide client service and customer service backup support as needed
- Execute special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in wholesale operations, sales support, commercial operations, merchandising, or luxury retail
- Strong commercial mindset with passion for luxury retail and client relationship management
- Strong business and analytical acumen with ability to translate sales data into actionable opportunities
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience utilizing sales reporting and performance metrics for account management
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building capabilities
- Experience with EDI systems and retail operations required
- Experience working with department stores and wholesale partners preferred
- Luxury, fashion, jewelry, or accessories industry experience preferred
