Piaget seeks a Watch & Jewelry Consultant in Beverly Hills to deliver luxury client service and sales in its boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, white-glove service to high-net-worth and walk-in clients, converting interactions into sales while cultivating long-term relationships.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across Piaget timepieces and high-jewelry collections; present technical features, provenance and craftsmanship with authority.
- Manage clienteling activities: maintain and update CRM records, schedule private appointments, and execute targeted follow-ups to drive repeat business.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets and KPIs through proactive prospecting, upselling and cross-selling.
- Ensure boutique standards for visual merchandising, product presentation and stock rotation are consistently met in line with brand guidelines.
- Support inventory control, stock administration and loss-prevention procedures; assist with receiving, reconciliation and showroom replenishment.
- Represent the brand at client events, trunk shows and private viewings; collaborate with management on local marketing initiatives and bespoke client experiences.
- Provide after-sales guidance and coordinate service requests with authorised service centres to ensure impeccable client care.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury retail sales, preferably with experience selling watches and/or high jewelry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of haute horlogerie and fine jewelry; formal training or certification in horology or gemology (e.g., GIA, horology coursework) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and manage relationships with high-net-worth clients and deliver personalised clienteling.
- Impeccable presentation, diplomacy and professional demeanour appropriate to a luxury boutique environment.
- Flexibility to work boutique hours, including evenings and weekends, and to participate in client events and trunk shows.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2–4 years of progressive experience in luxury retail, with demonstrable success selling watches and/or fine jewelry and managing relationships with affluent clientele.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or diploma in business, gemology, horology or a related discipline preferred.
