Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global PR and press strategy to strengthen Piaget’s positioning across watchmaking and high jewellery media channels.
  • Lead proactive media relations, cultivate senior-level relationships with international editors, critics and luxury press, and act as principal media spokesperson when required.
  • Manage all external communications around product launches, capsule collections and major client or institutional events, including press materials, embargoes and interview coordination.
  • Oversee crisis and issues communication, ensuring rapid, consistent and brand-aligned responses across markets.
  • Direct, mentor and allocate priorities for the press team and external agencies; establish KPIs and ensure high-calibre delivery across owned and earned channels.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional communications with marketing, boutiques, product and executive teams to ensure integrated messaging and calendar alignment.
  • Manage PR budgets, agency contracts and measurement/reporting of media coverage, share of voice and engagement metrics.

Qualifications

  • Proven senior leadership experience in luxury brand communications or PR, ideally within watchmaking, jewellery or high-fashion houses.
  • Demonstrable track record of placing executive interviews and long‑form features in top-tier international luxury, lifestyle and trade outlets.
  • Strong strategic judgement in brand storytelling, product narrative and editorial positioning across cultural markets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate relationships at C-suite, editorial and agency levels.
  • Fluent written and oral communication with exceptional press release and briefing-note drafting capabilities.
