Piaget seeks an Assistant Boutique Manager to drive sales and KPIs, develop clients and coach the boutique team while overseeing operations, stock management and visual merchandising. The role is full-time, includes weekend and holiday retail scheduling, and offers an annual salary range of $75,000–$80,000 plus eligibility for bonus and commission.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve sales goals and KPIs while proactively developing the client database.
- Deliver the Piaget experience to clients and prospects in accordance with brand guidelines.
- Generate store business creatively and network proactively to identify new business and client opportunities.
- Develop, train and motivate the boutique team to achieve individual sales goals and support client development.
- Lead actively on the selling floor and provide spot coaching.
- Provide exceptional customer service that exceeds client expectations.
- Recommend improvements to the management team across boutique operations and maintenance.
- Follow and implement procedures, standards and policies in the Retail Book and RISE.
- Build detailed knowledge of Piaget creations to provide exceptional customer service.
- Share ideas and recommendations with management to support boutique business development.
- Oversee operational processes with Operations and Richemont teams, including shipping and receiving, inventory, security, transfers and damages; ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while monitoring store profitability.
- Control inventory quality, including scratches, movements and batteries, and maintain merchandise in exceptional selling condition.
- Manage and support the team with daily and annual inventories and cycle counts.
- Coordinate High Jewelry/HTI requirements and stock movement with the Operations team.
- Oversee visual merchandising to ensure alignment with brand direction and business trends.
- Implement and follow Boutique Visual Merchandising guidelines.
- Ensure merchandise presentation meets visual merchandising standards and the boutique remains clean at all times.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience with a strong passion for and understanding of the luxury retail and/or service industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Well-groomed, professional, conscientious and reliable.
- Takes initiative, is conscientious and follows through fully on all responsibilities.
- Able to motivate others, contribute as a team player and work effectively within a group or team dynamic.
- Demonstrates innovation and initiative in setting customer care standards.
- Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office software.
- Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated, with a consistently positive attitude.
- Able to work flexibly and embrace and manage change.
- Able to lift up to 5 lbs and manipulate cases, fixtures, trays and similar items.
- Able to work a retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
