Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a portfolio of boutiques across the North of England, ensuring consistent execution of brand standards, visual merchandising and customer experience.
  • Set and deliver regional sales targets and KPIs through coaching, performance management and targeted commercial initiatives.
  • Manage P&L responsibility for the region: forecast sales, control costs, optimise margin and report commercial performance to senior leadership.
  • Recruit, mentor and retain high-performing store managers and sales teams; implement structured training and talent development plans.
  • Oversee inventory management, stock allocation and shrinkage control to maintain availability and minimise losses.
  • Collaborate with marketing, wholesale and e‑commerce teams to implement omnichannel campaigns and local store-level activations.
  • Drive operational excellence through regular store visits, mystery shopping, audits and corrective action plans.
  • Prepare timely management reports and present insights and improvement plans to regional and corporate stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of regional or multi‑store leadership within luxury retail, ideally in fragrance, beauty or premium lifestyle categories.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L and delivering consistent sales growth.
  • Strong people leadership skills with experience in recruitment, performance management and succession planning.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel frequently across the assigned region.

Experience

Significant retail management experience, typically 5+ years with a minimum of 2–3 years in a multi‑store or regional management role within luxury fragrance, beauty or premium retail. Proven success in driving sales, improving gross margin and developing retail teams.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Retail Management, Marketing or a related discipline preferred; substantial demonstrable retail leadership may substitute for formal qualifications.
