Penhaligon's Boutique Manager role in Sydney—lead retail operations, team development, and sales strategy in luxury fragrance retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and active sales floor leadership
- Manage the client database and execute targeted customer retention initiatives to drive incremental sales
- Lead and develop Fragrance Consultants, setting individual sales goals and providing ongoing coaching on product knowledge
- Ensure consistent delivery of premium customer service across all interactions and resolve complaints with professionalism
- Orchestrate special events including collection previews, client gatherings, and centre promotions
- Implement visual merchandising directives and maintain impeccable store presentation aligned with brand standards
- Manage staffing requirements, recruitment coordination, and performance evaluations with HR partnerships
- Oversee inventory management, stock inventories, cash controls, and security protocols
- Deliver team training programs including POS systems and compliance certifications
- Monitor sales performance through VIPS system and communicate weekly metrics to Account Manager and headquarters
- Ensure all occupational health, safety, and company policy adherence across the team
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' experience in retail management, preferably in fragrance, beauty, or luxury goods
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in retail settings
- Demonstrated expertise in luxury retail operations and customer service excellence
- Strong proficiency in inventory management and cash handling procedures
- Experience with digital sales recording systems and reporting platforms
- Ability to manage and motivate retail teams effectively

Experience
