Role & Responsibilities

  • Assemble and fit mechanical calibre components to prescribed tolerances, including gear trains, escapements and balance assemblies.
  • Perform precise adjustments of escapements, balance wheels and timing to achieve chronometric specifications.
  • Apply specialist lubricants and sealants according to technical directives and lubrication charts.
  • Inspect parts and sub‑assemblies under magnification, document nonconformities and implement corrective actions.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, tolerance tables and assembly instructions; complete production and traceability records.
  • Collaborate with quality control, prototyping and R&D teams to resolve assembly issues and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Formal watchmaking qualification (WOSTEP, CFC/CAP in watchmaking, or equivalent vocational diploma).
  • Demonstrable experience assembling and regulating mechanical watch movements (preferred: 2+ years).
  • Exceptional manual dexterity, visual acuity and patience for micro‑assembly tasks.
  • Familiarity with horological metrology and inspection protocols.
